It all began in the snowy corners of Potsdam, New York, at Clarkson University.

Logan was pursuing his MBA, and Rachael was just beginning her freshman year. It didn’t take long for their paths to cross—and for something to click. Their first official date? Tacos, of course. A little local spot called Hot Tamale set the stage for the beginning of a love story neither of them expected, but both quickly embraced.

That first year, Rachael and Logan spent as much time together as possible—sharing study breaks, late-night conversations, and the early signs of something real. When Logan graduated, his next adventure took him to Florida to work with the U.S. Olympic Women’s Ice Hockey Team. Though distance entered the picture, their connection stayed strong. Through frequent visits and countless phone calls, they continued writing their story across state lines.

After graduating from Clarkson with a degree in psychology, Rachael made the move to join Logan in State College, Pennsylvania, where he had begun working at Penn State. They spent a year living together, building a home and a rhythm they both cherished.

Soon after, Rachael followed her dream of becoming a Physical Therapist and began the next academic chapter at the University of Florida. While there, she adopted the world’s most adorable cat, Calyx—known lovingly as Cal. From that moment on, Cal became an essential part of the family, joining every road trip back and forth to Pennsylvania as the loyal sidekick he is.

After completing her degree, Rachael returned to State College, and they were finally together again—no more long distance, no more goodbyes at airports.

From Hot Tamale to hockey rinks, college towns to Gator country, they’ve built a life full of love, adventure, and unwavering support. Now, they can’t wait to begin this next chapter—together forever.
